Independent hotel in the Pays-d'en-Haut (Sainte-Adèle)
About thirty rooms, in Sainte-Adèle, with a clientele split between residents of the region and Montrealers who come up for the weekend.
The client prefers not to be named: in a market this size, its direct competitors are fifteen minutes down the road.
The starting point
In January 2025, the hotel showed up on its own name and on nothing else. Queries such as “hotel Sainte-Adèle” and “Laurentians weekend getaway” brought up the big booking platforms, which then took their commission on every night sold.
What was done
- One page per season rather than one page per room, because search follows the skiing, the fall colours and the summer.
- The Google Business Profile taken back in hand: real hours, dated photos, answers to reviews, weekly posts in high season.
- Pages aimed at each seasonal peak (CRO/SEO), rather than a single “our rooms” page.
- A direct, transparent booking path (CRO), which shows the saving compared with Booking.
