The short answer

Falia has an office at WeWork L'Avenue, 1275 avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, suite 500, across from the Bell Centre. We meet you there by appointment only. Our second office is in Saint-Sauveur. On the island, your customers and your competitors can change a great deal from one borough to the next: we take that into account in your site, your SEO and your advertising. Our prices are shown further down this page.

Why visibility costs more in Montreal

In Montreal, many businesses target the same searches as you, often with bigger budgets. Those searches are therefore expensive in advertising and take more time in organic search. The solution is often to target more specific searches.

Targeting more specifically, in practice

  1. By neighbourhood, when your customers come to you or you go to them: a person who types the name of their neighbourhood often wants to buy close to home. We create a page for each neighbourhood you serve.
  2. By industry, when you sell to businesses: a search like “aerospace supplier” can bring you better clients than “machining Montreal”.
  3. By problem, when your offer is technical: your clients often search for their problem before they search for what you offer. We create the pages that answer it.
  4. By language, when your market is bilingual: the same search gives different results in French and in English. We look at which language gives you the best chance of showing up.

What changes from one borough to the next

Businesses in the same industry often cluster in the same boroughs. Here are four areas of the island and what that changes for your visibility.

Downtown and the business district

Head offices and professional firms are concentrated there, within a few city blocks.

People rarely choose their accounting firm because it is around the corner. Your clients choose you mostly on a recommendation. Your articles and your presence on LinkedIn often count more than your Google Business Profile.

Mile End and the Plateau

Independent shops and restaurants compete there a few doors from one another.

The spots on the Google map (the three businesses shown at the top of the results) are hotly contested there. Your reviews, your recent photos and a page that talks about your borough can make the difference.

Saint-Laurent

The borough is home to many industrial companies, which sell mostly to other businesses across a territory much larger than the neighbourhood.

Your site speaks to a technical buyer and to a specialized future employee. Your certifications, your processes and your open positions often count more than your home page.

Rosemont, Villeray and Ahuntsic

Service SMBs and neighbourhood shops there mostly serve customers from the borough.

A small business can often get ahead of a bigger competitor there thanks to its Google Business Profile and its reviews.

Come and see us, across from the Bell Centre

Our Montreal office is at WeWork L'Avenue. We have worked in coworking spaces since our beginnings. This is where you can meet the partners who will work on your file.

Is your business elsewhere on the island? Our address changes nothing about your visibility on Google: what counts is your company's Google Business Profile.

The monthly engagement is offered from $1,600. Below that amount, we would not have enough hours to move your position on Google. At this starting price, we focus the work on one neighbourhood or on one type of customer.

What we do

We offer four services. You will not necessarily need all four: on the first call, we look with you at which ones can help you.

Website creation

We build a site with pages for the neighbourhoods or the industries you actually serve.

SEO, led by a partner

A partner leads your SEO and stays accountable for it.

Paid advertising

We target your ads by neighbourhood and we focus on the searches your budget can win. A partner manages the entire execution.

GEO and AI visibility

When a buyer asks ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude to name suppliers in the region, your business may appear in the answer or be missing from it. We check what these AI tools say about you.

What Montreal business owners ask us

Is it worth targeting my neighbourhood rather than all of Montreal?

Often, yes, especially when your customers live or work near you. Fewer businesses target “garage Ahuntsic” than “garage Montreal”: targeting your neighbourhood can get you showing up on Google faster. If your customers come from across the island or the province, we target your industry or the problems you solve instead.

Can we meet you?

Yes. The office is at WeWork L'Avenue, 1275 avenue des Canadiens-de-Montréal, suite 500, across from the Bell Centre. We meet there by appointment, because a good part of the team works from home, at clients' offices or from the Saint-Sauveur office. Write to us and we will set a time.

The market is saturated. How do we stand out?

By choosing different keywords from your competitors. On general keywords, you are up against advertisers with much bigger budgets. More specific searches generally cost less and can bring you customers who are more ready to buy.

Do we need an English site in Montreal?

Often, but rarely in full. We look at where your inquiries come from and which pages bring in English-speaking visitors, then we translate those. Translating the rest of the site is expensive and often brings in little.

How long before we show up on Google?

Your Google Business Profile can start bringing you calls after a few weeks. For the pages of your site, it often takes 3 to 6 months before you see your rankings move. Stable results generally take 6 to 12 months. In the meantime, paid advertising can bring you customers more quickly.

Do you limit the number of clients?

Yes, sixteen growth engagements at a time and only one client per industry and per market. Around Gabriel and Geneviève work a stable team and a network of regular collaborators, several of whom have worked with Falia for years. That depth is what lets us lead complex engagements while keeping responsibility for the result.

Does your market extend beyond the island? See Laval, the South Shore of Montreal, or the full list of our regions.
