SEO audit

SEO audit services: we start from your sales, not from your site

Our SEO audit is paid, from $2,995 depending on the size of the site, and it begins with a 30-minute call about your business goals and about what has already been tried. You then receive a written strategic plan, usable by your team as much as by ours, 2 to 6 weeks after the call. Execution stays optional.

We start with your business goals

A generic technical audit produces a list of fixes. An audit led by a partner produces an order of priority aimed at your sales. The technical base is the same in both cases: what changes is the sorting by impact on your margin.

01 · FREE OF CHARGE

The 30-minute call, before any quote

You talk to Gabriel or Geneviève, the two partners. During that call, we listen to your growth challenges before we even look at your site. The price and the scope of the audit come out of that call.

If the audit does not look like it will pay off for you, we tell you then, and the call stays free.

02

What we are trying to understand

  • What would make you say, twelve months from now, that sales have clearly moved forward.
  • Where your buyers come from today, and which ones you want to attract more of.
  • What a customer is worth to you (gross margin), even roughly.
  • Who, inside your company or elsewhere, will be able to execute the plan.
  • What you do not want to do, whatever we recommend.

03

What has already been tried, and why it did not pay

It is a part of the call we take very seriously. An agency before us, a freelancer, a rebuild, a link campaign, six months of blogging: what did not pay tells you what not to start over.

We also ask for the reports you have already received. A technical audit already paid for elsewhere changes the strategic plan we are going to write.

What the audit costs, and why it is paid

From $2,995, depending on the size of the site and the number of markets to cover. The exact amount is set after the call.

From $2,995, priced after the call

What makes the amount vary is the size of the site to audit: the number of pages to examine, the number of languages, the number of territories targeted and whether there is a catalogue with filter navigation. A 40-page brochure site sits at the starting price. A store with several thousand references, where organic search is won or lost on details, takes more.

Beyond what is described here, it is an engagement rather than an audit, and we will tell you so.

Why our audit is paid

A free audit is financed by the sale that has to follow: it rarely concludes “buy nothing”.

Ours is paid and independent. If it turns out your budget is better placed in advertising, in conversion (CRO), or nowhere, we write it.

2 to 6 weeks, depending on our commitments

The timeline depends less on the size of your site than on what our team already has on the table. Falia runs at most sixteen growth engagements at a time, and the audit is done between them, by the partner who leads them. When our sixteen seats are full, the timeline moves towards six weeks; when a seat opens up, it drops to two.

You know the exact date at signature, and we keep it.

Three ways in, and the call says which one suits you

The 30-minute call is free of charge, and it is always where we start. The consultation, $595, is spoken and answers an urgent budget decision in 90 minutes. The audit is a written strategic plan that guides execution. If you are hesitating, the call will settle it.

What we check

The audit is split into five parts. Each weighs differently on your sales: the 30-minute call decides which ones matter most. The GEO audit is included among the five: the last part is the reading of your visibility in generated answers.

Part 1

Technical and performance

Crawling, indexing, duplicate addresses, redirects, loading speed, mobile display, structured data.

What keeps Google from reaching the pages that carry your sales (the most urgent for your revenue).

Part 2

Content and buying intent

The match between your pages and what your buyers actually type, pages that hurt each other, the commercial depth of the content against the competition.

Where the gross margin you are not capturing sits, and what it is worth.

Part 3

Local search

Business listing, main category, consistency of your contact details, presence in the local pack for your queries.

The fastest lever for closing sales close to home.

Part 4

Authority and links

Link profile, comparison with the three competitors ahead of you, opportunities for commercial partnerships.

Deciding whether the gap with your competitors closes through content expertise or through public relations.

Part 5

Visibility inside AI, the GEO audit

What the AI engines recommend today when a customer looks for what you offer, what keeps you from being cited, and the state of direct answers.

Where the share of qualified leads that no longer click the blue links is going.

The strategic plan, and what you do with it

A document written to be read by leadership and executed by a development team. It ends with an action plan ordered by impact on your sales, rather than with a list of bugs.

Usable by your team

Every fix states the exact change to make, the number of pages affected and how to check that it is done.

That is our standard: an audit has to make you autonomous.

Or by our team, if you wish

Execution by Falia is an option. If you entrust it to us, the strategic plan becomes the plan of the monthly SEO engagement, with nothing to redo.

Many companies execute the technical side in house and entrust us with content and authority.

What it contains

  1. Your business goals, as we understood them on the call.
  2. The gap between what the site receives and what it should receive.
  3. The five parts, point by point.
  4. What each technical blockage costs you in lost sales.
  5. The ordered plan: impact on sales, technical effort and timeline.
  6. The work we leave aside, and why.
  7. The questions to put to your current provider.

See a report excerpt before you call

Three excerpts from a real report, with the client's name and domain removed. You judge the deliverable before we even talk about it.

Excerpt: the technical section

ANONYMIZED REPORT · EXCERPT 1

Google crawls 4,100 addresses on your site and indexes 780. The gap comes from your filters: every combination creates a distinct address, and the robots file does not exclude them. So the crawler spends its time on pages that bring you nothing, instead of the 62 profitable product pages published since January, 41 of which are still not indexed.

The impact on sales: those 41 pages carry the high-margin lines. As long as they are not indexed, the content you are paying for generates no sales.

Speed, mobileTo fix4.1 s before display, against a target of 2.5 s (customers give up)
Redirect chainsTo watch14 three-hop chains, inherited from the 2023 rebuild
Structured dataCompliantNothing to do here, the product markup is clean

The fix: exclude the filter combinations and set a canonical tag. About six hours of development. Verifiable in Search Console within four weeks.

Excerpt: the content, read from your goals

ANONYMIZED REPORT · EXCERPT 2

Your business goal is to sell more of the professional B2B line, which carries a higher margin. Yet your 214 visible queries almost all concern the consumer line, and 189 of them contain your company's name. People who already know you find you, but to buy what you want to sell less of.

No page on your site answers the questions a B2B buyer asks before ordering. Your three competitors have between eight and twenty each. That is where the qualified leads are, and it is a content work stream.

Two of your pages compete with each other: Google alternates between the two. Merging them settles the problem in an hour.

Excerpt: the ordered action plan

ANONYMIZED REPORT · EXCERPT 3

Three actions, in this order, chosen because they serve the B2B goal. The rest of the report documents the calculation behind that choice.

What we leave aside: a link acquisition campaign is not a priority here. The gap with your competitors sits in the content rather than in the external links.

These excerpts come from a real report. The client's name, its domain and its screenshots have been removed, and the other figures are those of the file. What you receive will be about your site and your goals.

Who does your audit

A partner, named, with their face. It is the strategist who takes the call, who examines the site and who signs the document. You know from the start who will actually do the work.

Gabriel Gervais, partner at Falia

The person who examines your site

Gabriel Gervais in most cases. If you entrust us with what follows, Geneviève Cyr carries out the recommendations. The report carries the signature of the partner who wrote it, and you can reply to them directly. How we work.

The time we put into it

Senior work. The automated crawl is only the starting point: everything else is analysis and judgment, on your pages, on your competitors' pages, on your margins.

That work is what the price range buys.

Why an audit generator is not enough

A generator knows nothing about what you sell or the value of a closed sale. Without that data, it cannot prioritize, and it produces a list of technical findings with no hierarchy. What has value in a Falia audit is the order dictated by the impact on your sales.

Who this audit is for

Five situations where we advise against the audit. In each one, we tell you on the 30-minute call, to protect your budget.

  • Nobody will execute the plan. Neither inside your company nor at ours. An audit that stays in a drawer generates no sale, and it is our first filter.
  • A complete rebuild is already decided. The audit would cover a site about to disappear. Take a consultation instead, to discuss the rebuild.
  • Your market has no buyers on Google. Some B2B products are not searched for online. The call is enough to see it.
  • You need closed sales within 30 days. Organic search takes several months before it produces. What you need is targeted paid acquisition.
  • You want a second opinion on a proposal you received. A full audit goes beyond that need. The 90-minute consultation is better suited to reading an agency proposal.

Talk to a partner

Thirty minutes, free of charge, about your business goals and the leads you are after. The price and the delivery date come out of it. It is a working conversation.

  • You talk to Gabriel or Geneviève, the two partners.
  • If the audit will not pay off for you, we tell you right away.

Frequently asked questions about the SEO audit

How much does an SEO audit cost at Falia?

The SEO audit is offered from $2,995, depending on the size of your site. The amount is set after the 30-minute call: a 40-page brochure site and a store with 8,000 references do not take the same work.

Why don't you do free audits?

Because a free audit mainly serves to sell the service that follows. A paid audit can conclude that SEO is not the right investment for you, and we do recommend that at times.

How long does the audit take?

2 to 6 weeks. The range depends on our current commitments: we run at most sixteen growth engagements at a time to guarantee quality. You know the exact date at signature.

Who writes the strategic plan?

Gabriel Gervais in most cases, otherwise Geneviève Cyr. The plan carries the signature of the strategist who wrote it, and you can reply to them directly.

Do I have to hand you the execution to get results?

No. The plan is written so your team can execute it on its own: every fix is described precisely. Execution by our team is an option, from $1,600 a month.

What happens during the 30-minute call?

We talk about your sales and the leads you are after, rather than about technical tags: where your margin comes from, what a customer is worth, what has already been tried. That is where we check whether the audit will pay off for you.

What is the difference with the consultation offered at $595?

The consultation is spoken and serves to settle a budget decision. The audit is written, examines the site in depth and produces an execution plan. If you are hesitating, the consultation is the right starting point.

What happens if my site cannot be improved any further?

We write it to you and point you towards conversion (CRO) or paid acquisition to generate more sales. If the 30-minute call already tells us so, we say it before selling the audit.
