What exactly is a static site?+

A site whose pages are built ahead of time rather than on every visit. The visitor receives a file that is already prepared, served from the network closest to them, with no database queried. That is what makes it fast, and it is also what makes it safer and harder to attack: there is nothing to run on the public side.

Is a static site read better by artificial intelligence?+

It is read more completely. Several generative engine crawlers do not run JavaScript: they read the page code as it arrives. On a static site, the content is already in that code. On a site that assembles its pages in the browser, part of the content may never be seen. That is the first condition for being cited; the quality of the content decides the rest.

Can I keep changing my site myself?+
